A small crew that misses real conversation
BuzzCast on buzzcast.cam is a web service built around two small pleasures: keeping a streamer company, and chatting with a stranger on camera. We started it because so much of the social internet had turned into scrolling past people instead of meeting them. Streams you can talk into and private calls bring an actual human back to the far side of the glass.
The team is small. We look after matching, live rooms, moderation, payments and support ourselves, and we read the emails people send us. We would rather explain plainly what BuzzCast does and does not do than wrap it in marketing, which is why this page runs longer than most about pages.
02the name
Why BuzzCast
A buzz is that small jolt when a conversation suddenly gets good. A cast is a broadcast. Put them together and you have the feeling we are after: a live room that hums, and a call that sparks. The .cam ending is simply honest about what happens here, which is people talking on camera.
People type the name in all sorts of ways. Some write buzz cast with a space; others slip a letter and end up with buzzcas, buzzxast or buzcast. Every one of those spellings leads here, so you have found us whichever one you typed.
03what we do
What BuzzCast actually offers
There are two halves to the site. BuzzCast Live is a list of live chat rooms where hosts stream and viewers comment, follow and send gifts. BuzzCast video chat pairs strangers at random for a private chat, on camera, by voice or in writing. Around those sit a few helpers: follows, a translate button in chat, a reward center that adds small bonuses, and coins for paid actions.
Everything runs in the browser. Nothing needs installing; our web app guide shows how to put a shortcut on your phone.

05not the same company
BuzzCast here versus other apps with the same name
You may know a BuzzCast mobile app from an app store. This site, buzzcast.cam, is an independent browser service and is not run by that app. Accounts, coins, VIP and support here are separate from it and from any other app sharing the name. We cannot log you into another app, move coins between platforms, or help with an account that was created somewhere else.
If someone in a chat claims they can top up your BuzzCast app balance through this site, or asks for your login from another app, they are not from us. Report them. Details about coins are on is BuzzCast free.
One rule makes everything simple: anything you buy or set up on buzzcast.cam stays on buzzcast.cam.
06how we keep it decent
Moderation and safety, briefly
Membership is limited to over-18s. Reports from rooms and calls go to moderators who review them around the clock, and accounts that break our community guidelines are muted, suspended or banned. We do not record calls or live rooms; we keep a short activity log and anything attached to a report. Read more on is BuzzCast safe or in the privacy policy.
