Privacy Policy
BuzzCast on buzzcast.cam is a browser site where you can watch hosts stream and also meet strangers privately, by camera, by voice or by typing. Running those two things needs a small set of details about you. This page names each one, says why we hold it and explains how to get rid of it.

01 The details we hold
Nothing here is collected for its own sake; each line supports a feature on the site:
- Session and account basics: the guest ID your browser gets on first visit, any sign-in you link later, the name you display, your language and the age you confirmed.
- Extras you volunteer, say a portrait or a one-line intro, together with your follow lists in both directions.
- Words you type: comments in a live room and messages in a private chat.
- A light log of activity: when you matched, called or entered a room, which mode you picked and about how long it ran.
- Purchases of coins or VIP, gifts sent in rooms, and the receipt our payment processor sends back. Your card number never reaches us.
- Any report you send or receive, along with the decision a moderator logged for it.
- Device data such as your IP, browser version, system type and error traces, kept to repair bugs and stop abuse.
02 We do not keep recordings of calls or streams
Video and audio pass through in real time. BuzzCast stores the activity log above and whatever evidence is attached to a report, but no copy of the call itself. That does not stop the other person, or a viewer in a room, from capturing their own screen, so keep anything sensitive off camera.
03 Why we use it
- Pairing you with people who are online and opening the live rooms you tap.
- Keeping your follows, coin balance and VIP status in place between visits.
- Spotting fake accounts, spam and people who come back after a ban.
- Answering your support emails and your reports.
- Counting which pages and features are used, in aggregate, so we know what to improve.
04 Who else sees it
A short list of service providers handles hosting, video delivery, payments and error tracking for us, and each one only gets the slice of data its job requires. Personal data is never sold, and advertisers never receive it from us. If a court or regulator lawfully requires information, we share the minimum the request covers.
05 How long it stays
Account details last while your account exists. Activity logs are trimmed after a few months unless a report or a dispute needs them longer. Payment records stay for the period tax law requires. Once you delete your account, the rest is removed or made anonymous.
06 Your choices
Write to [email protected] to get a copy of your data, correct something, or erase your account entirely. Send the request from the account or include your display name so we can find you. Blocking someone, switching off your camera and leaving a room all work instantly without asking us.
07 Adults only
Only adults may join BuzzCast. If an account turns out to be run by someone younger than 18, it is shut and its data wiped.
