Rooms where someone is actually awake with you
On BuzzCast Live, hosts do the streaming and you do the watching. Each room is a live stream happening right now: a host chatting, laughing at the comments, singing along to a playlist, or keeping a handful of night owls company. Nothing is pre-recorded. When the host says hi, it is meant for whoever is in the room right then, you included.
The rooms sit in the Live tab. Tap a card and the stream fills the screen. Swipe up for the next host, swipe down to go back. Rooms let you size BuzzCast up long before your own camera matters, and some members happily drift between buzzcast lives all night.
02live chat rooms, explained
Why people call them live chat rooms
Every stream has a comment column running next to it, which is what turns a broadcast into a live chat room. You type, the host reads it out, and the whole room hears the answer. It feels less like watching a video and more like sitting at the edge of a conversation you can join at any moment.
One thing a BuzzCast room is not: a group video call. Only the host is on camera. Viewers take part through the chat, gifts and follows, which is exactly why a room is such an easy place to start if you are shy.
03what you can do
Watch in silence, or let the room know you are there
No one expects anything from a viewer, so feel free to just watch. When you want to join in, everything you need sits on the same screen as the stream.
- 01
Comment
Type in the room chat. Hosts read comments on air and often reply by name.
- 02
Send a gift
Gifts pop up for the whole room to see. They use coins; is BuzzCast free explains how coins work.
- 03
Follow
Follow a host you like and a live badge appears next to their name the next time they stream.
- 04
Call one-on-one
Start Video Chat in a room opens a private BuzzCast video call with that host.
A few rooms have an entry rule: a gift ticket, followers only, or paid accounts only. The entry screen spells it out before you spend a single coin.
04best hours
When the Live tab is at its busiest
Hosts stream from many countries, so the Live tab is never empty. Peak time lands in the evening across the US and Europe, with the widest choice of rooms and the quickest live stream chat. Late nights are slower and often warmer, perfect for an intimate room in which your comments are actually answered.
How the Live tab feels across a day (US time)| Time | What you will find | Best for |
|---|
| Morning | Fewer rooms, many hosts from Latin America and Asia | Quiet rooms where every comment gets read |
| Afternoon | A steady, mixed line-up | Dipping into a few streams on a break |
| Evening | The most rooms and the fastest chat | Finding a host worth following |
| Late night | Night-owl rooms and far-away time zones | Long, easy chats with a small audience |
05from room to private call
When one host is enough
Sometimes a room is fun, but you would rather talk to the host without fifty other people reading along. That is what the Start Video Chat button inside a room is for. It opens a private call with that host, just the two of you, and the room carries on without you.
Private calls with hosts are paid in coins, and you see the cost on screen before the call connects. If you would rather meet someone random instead, leave the room and press Start match; that is the regular 1v1 video chat, free to start.
06good manners
How to be the viewer every host likes
Say hello when you arrive, keep comments friendly, and do not ask the host to do things they have already turned down. Gifts are a thank-you, never a demand. If somebody in the chat makes the room unpleasant, report them rather than arguing; moderators can remove them faster than an argument ever ends. The full list lives in our community guidelines.
